Announcement Welcome to our Apple Rose Fiber Store. We specialize in high quality fiber for hand spinners and felters. Our Cormo Sheep and California Red Sheep are bred to produce very high quality fiber and are covered to keep out plant matter and dirt. The fleece is then processed professionally. We have both 100% Registered Cormo Sheep and 100% Registered California Red Sheep. Our Web site www.applerose.com provides information about these breeds of sheep. We have both natural colored white Cormo and hand dyed Cormo Roving. CORMO TOP is our specialty. We have 35 colors of hand dyed Mohair Roving. I also make one ounce Batts for hand spinners and felters. All fiber sold is produced on our farm here in New York.

The Apple Rose Farm

We, here at the Apple Rose Farm have been raising high quality Cormo Sheep and California red Sheep along with White Angora Goats for 20 years. WE ARE A NO KILL FARM, Our sheep are humanely raised and live out their natural lives on the farm. We specialize in selling fiber and breeding stock.

Our sheep spend the day grazing in the lush pastures here in Northern New York. They spend their nights locked in a secure barn to protect them from predators. We have three guard Llamas in addition to electric fencing to keep our flock safe.
Our sheep wear custom made coats for most of the year to keep the fleece clean and produce excellent Top and Roving for use by Hand Spinners and Felters.

I like to work with fiber and do all the hand washing and dyeing. I also card batts for use by felters and hand spinners. I needle felt and hand felt using fiber produced on our farm. Life is always interesting when working with animals.
